Vancouver and Richmond welcome wave of new restaurant openings

The Metro Vancouver culinary scene is seeing a wave of new restaurant openings and expansions across various neighborhoods.

In Vancouver, notable additions include the Swiss chocolatier Läderach opening its first downtown store at CF Pacific Centre, and the Montreal-based salad chain Mandy’s arriving in Kitsilano. Bento Cafe YVR has announced a second location in Kerrisdale, while C Market Coffee is preparing to open its first downtown location on West Georgia Street.

Other recent and upcoming openings include Linh Noodle Bar at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, Straight Outta Brooklyn Pizza on Kingsway, and Yoona’s Cafe & Tapas on Robson. Richmond is seeing increased activity with the arrival of Mr. Noodle Chen, Xiaoyu Bistro, H&A Art Caffè, and Dolan. Additional spots such as Yang’s Fook Kee, Bentendo, and Kim’s Korean Waffles & Pancakes have also recently launched or reopened.
