Vancouver Bandits rally to defeat Montreal Alliance in historic comeback

The Vancouver Bandits erased a 22‑point second‑half deficit to beat the Montreal Alliance 93‑92 at the Langley Events Centre. The win clinched the Bandits a seventh consecutive CEBL playoff appearance and moved them into a tie for first place in the Western Conference (12‑7), while Montreal fell to 8‑11.

Interim head coach Rans Brempong said the team’s “mindset, our will to not lose” sparked the turnaround, and forward Tyrese Samuel led the comeback with 24 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Key contributions also came from Jarrell Eddie (18 points), Shamar Givance (game‑winning jumper) and James Karnik, who posted a double‑double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Montreal missed a chance to seal the game when Jack Hemphill made the first free throw but missed the second.
