Vancouver Bandits defeat Winnipeg Sea Bears to retake Western Conference lead

The Vancouver Bandits beat the Winnipeg Sea Bears 94‑88 on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Langley Events Centre in front of a sold‑out crowd during Filipino Heritage Night. The win erased a 114‑81 loss to the Sea Bears nine days earlier and propelled Vancouver back to the top of the Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Western Conference with a 9‑4 record, while the Sea Bears fell to 8‑5.

Bandits guard Jarkel Joiner led the effort with 34 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Tevin Brown added 21 points, Lloyd Pandi contributed 11 points and six rebounds, and Dominic Parolin recorded a double‑double with 10 points and eight rebounds. For Winnipeg, Trevon Scott and Teddy Allen scored 28 and 27 points respectively. Vancouver’s next game is scheduled for Friday, July 3, against the Edmonton Stingers at the same venue.
