Canucks charity golf tournament to host auctions and raffles in Surrey
The 42nd annual Jake Milford Canucks Charity Invitational Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14, at the Northview courses in Surrey. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Canucks For Kids Fund and the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Foundation.
Participants and fans can engage in various fundraising activities, including an online auction and raffles. Auction items include on-ice experiences with Canucks players, concert tickets, and dining experiences. An online raffle sponsored by Britton Diamonds features a diamond pendant and necklace valued at $14,300.
A Canucks For Kids Fund 50/50 raffle will run from Sept. 14 through Sept. 22, concluding during a preseason game against the Calgary Flames. Proceeds from the 50/50 draw are intended to support wildfire relief in British Columbia, with an estimated jackpot of $100,000.
