Vancouver Canucks hire Ryan Stewart and Adam Sergerie

The Vancouver Canucks have made two new additions to their hockey operations department as part of an ongoing organizational rebuild. General manager Ryan Johnson announced the hiring of Ryan Stewart as the director of hockey strategy and player evaluation, a newly created role within the organization.

Stewart joins the Canucks from the San Jose Sharks, where he served as a senior advisor overseeing professional personnel in North America and Europe. He previously spent 16 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, holding various roles including assistant general manager and winning Stanley Cup championships in 2013 and 2015.

Additionally, the Canucks have hired Adam Sergerie as a pro scout. Sergerie joins the team from the Western Hockey League, having most recently served as the director of scouting for the Penticton Vees.
