Vancouver Goldeneyes GM Alison Izzi signs Caroline Harvey

Alison Izzi has begun her tenure as the general manager of the Vancouver Goldeneyes in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). In her first week, Izzi secured a deal with American defender Caroline ‘KK’ Harvey, described as a generational talent.

Izzi transitions to the role from the NHL’s legal department, where she focused on hockey operations and player safety. She previously served as the vice-president of hockey operations and governance for the American Hockey League.

In a unique organizational structure, Izzi will work alongside her predecessor, Cara Gardner Morey, who transitioned from general manager to head coach at the end of July. The team is currently preparing for training camps and its upcoming home opener against the Seattle Torrent.
