Vancouver summer lineup features free symphony concert, ice‑cream festival and many live events

Throughout mid‑July, Vancouver offers a packed schedule of free and ticketed cultural activities. Highlights include a waterfront performance by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the city‑wide Ice Cream Festival with over 40 participating vendors, a Matcha Latte Art Throwdown, and a free outdoor concert at David Lam Park. Visitors can also explore pop‑up bakeries, a coffee & cacao wellness party, the Summer Made Market, and the interactive Magical Idol Café.

Other weekend attractions feature Theatre Under the Stars at Malkin Bowl with productions of Sister Act and The Little Mermaid, Bard on the Beach’s Shakespeare comedy, a Shrek‑themed rave, a FIFA Museum exhibition on soccer technology, Metro Vancouver’s Koolfest hot‑chocolate festival, the Greek Summerfest, Shipyards Night Market, and private yacht tours from the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
