Vandaag Inside hosts discuss Ruben Van Gucht and show's future

The Dutch television program Vandaag Inside has become a topic of discussion regarding its hosts and guests. During a recent broadcast featuring guest Goedele Liekens, the panel critiqued Flemish presenter Ruben Van Gucht. While Liekens acknowledged Van Gucht as a highly skilled presenter, the hosts offered personal critiques. Johan Derksen noted that Van Gucht is not a particularly jovial personality, while René van der Gijp suggested he lacks self-mockery and takes himself too seriously, specifically citing his openness regarding his private life.

Separately, René van der Gijp addressed ongoing speculation regarding the future of Vandaag Inside. Despite rumors involving potential network moves for host Wilfred Genee, Van der Gijp stated he sees no immediate reason for the show to end. He remarked that the program will continue as long as the main hosts remain healthy and capable of performing.
