Vandalism and security concerns reported in Italian cities

Residents and local associations in Italy are reporting increasing instances of vandalism and public disorder. In Pescara, associations located on via Rubicone have faced over a year of continuous damage, including cut Wi-Fi lines, broken marble slabs, and the abandonment of syringes. Donato Fioriti, representing Cipas and Contribuenti Abruzzo, has called for increased police presence and municipal protection for the 'Casa delle Associazioni' to ensure services for youth and the elderly remain accessible.

In Barletta, residents near via Dibari and via Lattanzio have expressed growing fear due to nightly disturbances. Reports indicate groups of youths consuming alcohol, breaking bottles, and detonating paper bombs under balconies. Additionally, pedestrians and children are reportedly at risk from scooters performing dangerous maneuvers in pedestrian zones. Despite previous reports to law enforcement and formal complaints, residents are demanding more concrete intervention from local and state authorities to restore safety.
