Vandalism and vehicle raids reported in Viterbo and Bologna
Residents in several Italian cities are facing a wave of vehicle vandalism and theft. In Viterbo, specifically in the area between via Garbini and the Carmine district, motorists have reported finding their cars heavily damaged and looted. Perpetrators have been smashing windows to access vehicle interiors, though authorities are still investigating whether these incidents are motivated by theft or serial vandalism.
In Bologna, a similar pattern of unrest has been reported in Largo Lercaro. Following recent vehicle fires in the area, three more cars were targeted by an unknown individual who smashed them, possibly using stones or iron pipes. Local police and the State Police are investigating these incidents, which have caused significant concern among residents in the Lunetta Gamberini area.
