Argentina experiences repeated vandalism attacks on public buses

On Saturday night in Formosa, two youths threw stones at a city bus on Gobernador Gorleri, breaking a side window and injuring an 11‑year‑old passenger with abdominal injuries. The child was taken to the Hospital de la Madre y el Niño. Police opened a criminal case for damage and the municipal transport director warned that it was the third attack on line K in ten days.

In Olavarría, a night‑shift combi belonging to De las Sierras was struck by a stone at the Jardín Belén roundabout, shattering a side pane. The driver was unharmed; the attackers were reportedly four boys aged 12‑13. The Union Tranviarios Automotor filed a police complaint and coordinated with municipal authorities to prevent further incidents.
