Vandalism reported in Orvieto and illegal parking racket in Naples

In Orvieto, unknown vandals damaged a wooden bench in the Giardino della Gentilezza located in Piazza Angelo da Orvieto during the night of October 27 to October 28. Municipal maintenance workers are currently working to repair the seat. Alda Coppola, the city's assessor for kindness, expressed disappointment over the incident, noting that the damage occurred in a space specifically designed to promote sociality and civic care.

In Naples, an investigation has highlighted an illegal parking racket operating in various streets. Unauthorized attendants manage parking spaces, often in areas where official blue line parking fees apply. The investigation found that these individuals offer unofficial monthly subscriptions, such as 30 euros per month for a reserved spot, to provide drivers with perceived security and convenience in areas subject to local municipal disputes.
