Vanderbilt and Mississippi State prepare for college football matchup

Vanderbilt Commodores and Mississippi State Bulldogs are scheduled to face each other this Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium. Vanderbilt enters the game with a 3-5 record and is currently on a five-game losing streak, all against SEC opponents. The Commodores must win three of their final four games to achieve bowl eligibility.

Mississippi State holds a 4-4 record and is also struggling, having lost four consecutive games. The Bulldogs will be without starting quarterback Kamario Taylor, leaving the offense to be led by either AJ Swann or freshman Parker Puckett.

Following the matchup in Starkville, Vanderbilt is scheduled to host Alabama on November 14 at FirstBank Stadium, with a kickoff time set for 11:45 a.m. CT.
