Brazil national team calls up Vanderson for friendlies after Wesley injury
Brazil's national football team coach Carlo Ancelotti has adjusted his squad for upcoming international friendly matches. Wesley, the right-back from Roma, has been withdrawn from the squad due to an injury, the details of which have not been specified by the CBF.
Vanderson, currently playing for Monaco, has been called up to replace him. The squad will participate in a series of matches marking the beginning of the cycle for the 2030 World Cup.
The team is scheduled to play two matches against Australia, with games set for Townsville and Brisbane. Following the Australian leg, the delegation will travel to India to face the host nation in Kolkata on October 3. The 26-man roster includes several players from the previous World Cup, such as Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhães, and Vinícius Júnior.
