Vandyke Feedlot sold for over $20 million in Queensland

Vandyke Feedlot, located in the Queensland Central Highlands, has been sold to Clay and Coreena Kenny of Belyando Junction in a transaction estimated to exceed $20 million.

The operation, previously offered by the Allied Beef Group, spans 2,231 hectares and is situated 25km west of Springsure. The facility is a fully developed feedlot with a capacity of 8,640 standard cattle units, featuring 52 shade-covered pens and various infrastructure including steel panel induction yards, hospital pens, and a weighbridge.

Water resources for the property include a 155 megalitre groundwater allocation from two bores, a 55 megalitre dam, and seasonal waterholes in Vandyke, Cona, and Sandy creeks. The land also comprises 335 hectares of dryland cropping and 548 hectares of grazing country.
