VanEck forecasts sharply higher Bitcoin price within a year
VanEck research analyst Matthew Sigel said Bitcoin is expected to be "materially higher" in the next 12 months, urging investors to build positions gradually and suggesting the market bottom may already be reached. He cited the four‑year cycle and halving patterns, while noting VanEck offers a Bitcoin fund to clients.
Bitwise senior investment strategist Juan Leon described the current Bitcoin bear market as the "most structurally mild" since earlier cycles, with a roughly 50 % drawdown compared with 78 % in 2022 and 84 % in 2018. Institutional investors are split between those using the dip to rebalance and those waiting for clearer regulation, such as the potential Clarity Act. He also highlighted that AI‑driven capital flows and regulatory delays are reshaping investment behavior in the crypto space.
