Vanessa Feltz launches YouTube channel after Channel 5 cancellation

Broadcaster Vanessa Feltz has launched a new YouTube channel, ‘At Home with Vanessa’, following the abrupt cancellation of her Channel 5 programme. Feltz described the termination of her year-long contract as a “horrible” and “unexpected” shock that occurred after Paramount acquired the network.

Her new digital venture involves filming from her home and aims to provide a more intimate setting for guests than traditional television. Feltz noted that managing her own company and employees is a new and “scary” experience, but she has seen encouraging early results with subscriber numbers approaching 25,000.

Additionally, Feltz has teased a future project linked to East Cork, Ireland, a location she has frequented for over 30 years. While she is currently filming in London, she expressed a desire to eventually move the production to the Irish region.
