Vanessa Mai discusses emotional dependency on husband

German Schlager singer Vanessa Mai has spoken openly about her relationship with her husband and manager, Andreas Ferber, during an episode of her podcast ‘Schön laut’. Mai stated that she feels “super, super emotionally dependent” on her husband and expressed that she is “very fond of it.”

Mai, who has been with Ferber since 2013 and married him in 2017, noted that she has not felt loneliness for many years. She shared that she cannot imagine life without her partner, suggesting she would “die of a broken heart” if they were apart. She contrasted her feelings with her podcast co-host, Lola Weippert, whom Mai admires for being able to be happy while alone.
