Vanguard cuts FTSE All-World ETF fee to 0.14% as inflows reach $16 bn
Vanguard announced that the expense ratio of its FTSE All‑World UCITS ETF will be reduced from 0.19% to 0.14% effective 28 July 2026, saving investors an estimated $37 million a year. The fund, which manages about €46.9 bn (roughly $76.8 bn) and is the largest FTSE All‑World ETF in Europe, has attracted more than $16 bn of new capital this year and is trading near its 52‑week high.
The ETF’s top holdings as of 30 June 2026 are heavily weighted toward technology and semiconductor companies, including Nvidia, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing and Meta Platforms. A recent 13F institutional manager holdings report lists Vanguard’s ETFs among the largest positions held by major investors, alongside sizable stakes in Apple, Microsoft and other tech firms. The report also shows declines in holdings across several Vanguard‑managed funds, reflecting broader market adjustments.
The fee cut and the fund’s strong performance underscore the growing demand for low‑cost, globally diversified equity exposure, especially as technology stocks continue to drive market rallies.
