Vanguart produces exclusive OpenAI-themed timepieces

Vanguart, an independent watch manufacturer based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, has produced a highly exclusive series of seven timepieces for OpenAI. The project, which is not available for commercial sale, features the Orb Flying Tourbillon model.

The custom watches incorporate technological themes through mechanical artistry. They include the OpenAI logo on the barrel cover, the phrase ‘Compute is destiny’ engraved around the rotor, and the word ‘Scaling’ on the crown pusher. Additionally, the back of the watches features a line of Python code: ‘if AGI.aligned: deploy()’.

Each of the seven numbered pieces is crafted from grade five titanium and contains 395 components. The movement features an automatic flying tourbillon, a 60-hour power reserve, and a frequency of 3 Hz.
