Vanspor midfielder Ozan Can Kökçü backs brother Orkun Kökçü at Beşiktaş

Vanspor FK midfielder Ozan Can Kökçü, who joined the club in June, completed the team's pre‑season preparations at the Palandöken High‑Altitude Camp in Erzurum. He described Vanspor as a "big community" and said the squad is moving in a positive direction after a difficult period.

Kökçü recalled playing football with his older brother, Beşiktaş captain Orkun Kökçü, on the streets and in youth academies, noting that they never reached the professional level together because of differing career paths. He praised Orkun's recent performances, stating that "the statistics, the game and the leadership all show he is performing well" despite some criticism.

Looking ahead, Ozan Can said his personal aim is to succeed wherever he plays and that Vanspor’s goal for the season is to qualify for the play‑offs.
