Vantor appoints Will Cocos to lead U.S. government business

Vantor has appointed Will Cocos as Executive Vice President and General Manager of its U.S. government business. Cocos, a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer, previously served as the company’s Chief Transformation Officer.

In his new role, Cocos will oversee Vantor’s operations across the U.S. defense, intelligence, and civil government sectors. The company aims to accelerate the delivery of mission-ready spatial intelligence capabilities to warfighters and government operators, particularly in complex or contested environments.

Cocos succeeds Susanne Hake, who led the U.S. government business for three years before departing for a new role in the national security arena. Vantor, which was formerly known as Maxar Intelligence, rebranded in October 2025 to reflect its transition from satellite imagery to end-to-end spatial intelligence. The company reportedly contributes to 90% of the foundational geospatial intelligence used by the U.S. government.
