Vantrue Nexus 4S dash cam features three-camera coverage
The Vantrue Nexus 4S is a three-camera dash cam system designed to record the road ahead, the vehicle's interior, and the area behind the car. The system utilizes Sony STARVIS 2 sensors across all three lenses to provide high-contrast imaging and strong performance in low-light environments. The front-facing camera records at a maximum resolution of 2592×1944, while the rear and cabin-facing cameras capture video at 2560×1440.
Technical reviews note that the system includes features such as GPS, Wi-Fi for footage transfer, and parking modes. However, testing has identified a software quirk where recording at the maximum 1944p resolution can result in an incorrect aspect ratio during playback on computers and mobile devices.
Currently, the Nexus 4S is featured in Amazon’s Fall Prime Day sales, offering a discount of approximately 32%, which represents savings of over $100.
