Var region unveils extensive 2026 summer tourism program

The Toulon Provence Méditerranée tourism office announced a comprehensive 2026 summer programme for the Var coastline. Activities include boat trips around the Embiez archipelago and the Îles d’Or such as Porquerolles, Port‑Cros and Le Levant, with options for sailing, kayaking and paddle‑boarding. The offer also features gastronomic experiences like visits to local markets, wine tastings in Côtes de Provence vineyards and seaside dining, alongside a dense cultural agenda of music festivals, art exhibitions and open‑air performances.

In the neighbouring town of Sanary, promotional material highlights its picturesque port, the “most beautiful market of France” that gathers over 300 vendors each Wednesday, and a summer theatre festival centred on humour. Together, the initiatives aim to attract both residents and visitors to enjoy the Provençal lifestyle of sea, food and culture throughout the summer season.
