Var students participate in major crisis management training

In the Var department, middle school students from Jean Moulin in Brignoles and Marcel Pagnol in Toulon participated in a major awareness day focused on crisis management and life-saving techniques. Held on the National Resilience Day, the initiative was organized by state services to instill a culture of risk awareness in young people.

The program included workshops on civil security organization, the importance of individual preparedness, and the creation of family emergency kits. Students were also briefed on population alert systems, such as FR-Alert, and participated in role-playing exercises to simulate crisis decision-making. Additionally, the training addressed forest fire prevention, a critical concern in the Var region, and provided instruction on essential first aid skills like cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
