Varaždin County Donates Land to City for New Road Project

County Župan Anđelko Stričak and Varaždin mayor Dr. Neven Bosilj signed an agreement transferring a 1,088‑square‑metre plot of state‑owned land to the city. Valued at €28,300, the parcel will be used to build an off‑road segment of Ulica Mihovila Pavleka Miškine and related municipal infrastructure.

The city’s request was filed on 13 June 2025, with supplementary documentation submitted on 20 February and 20 March 2026. After completing the required legal procedures, the county approved the donation, citing its role in advancing public‑interest projects and supporting the region’s broader infrastructure investment cycle.
