Varaždin hosts Špancirfest festival and youth football tournament

The Špancirfest festival in Varaždin has drawn large crowds for its street and musical programming, featuring performers from around the world, including participants from France and Bulgaria. The festival offers approximately 600 different programs, including historical costume displays and musical performances, such as the British band Kosheen.

Alongside the cultural festivities, the Špancir Kup football tournament took place from August 21 to 23. The event brought together over 30 teams and approximately 650 young football talents. Due to ongoing infrastructure work at the Slobodino stadium, the tournament was hosted at the NK Udarnik 32 field in Gornji Kučan.
