Varanasi launches Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra for PM Modi

The ‘Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra’ was launched in Varanasi to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday and mark 25 years of his public service. The 22-day journey, which connects Varanasi to Vadnagar, was flagged off by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The expedition is expected to pass through 193 districts, 1,159 villages, and 10 states.

During the launch event, Rajnath Singh praised the Prime Minister’s legacy, citing the removal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, efforts to combat Naxalism, and poverty alleviation as key achievements. He described the journey as a connection between the Prime Minister’s ‘birthplace’ and his ‘field of work.’ The program also included an exhibition detailing Modi’s 25 years in public life and religious ceremonies at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
