Varanasi Police launch 100 modified Phantom bikes

Varanasi Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal launched a fleet of 100 modified Phantom bikes on August 15 to mark India's 80th Independence Day. The initiative is designed to increase police visibility and provide rapid assistance to citizens in crowded areas and at major intersections throughout the district.

The modified bikes will be deployed at strategic locations to allow for immediate on-the-spot help, potentially reducing the need for residents to visit police stations for every complaint. Each bike will feature unique identification and contact numbers to facilitate public engagement.

During the ceremony at the Reserve Police Lines, Agarwal also presented medals and citations to police personnel for their service. In his address, he emphasized the importance of upholding constitutional values such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity in all police conduct.
