Varanasi traveler misses Dubai flight after sleeping in airport parking lot

Bhushan Kumar, a resident of Gorakhpur, missed an Air India Express flight from Varanasi to Dubai after falling asleep in the parking area of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport.

Kumar arrived at the airport at approximately 5:30 pm, nearly three and a half hours before his scheduled 9:05 pm departure. However, instead of proceeding to the boarding area, he went to the parking lot where he reportedly fell asleep while intoxicated. Airport security personnel discovered him unresponsive in the parking area and alerted local police.

By the time authorities arrived, the flight had already departed. Police transported Kumar to a primary health centre for a medical examination. Authorities later contacted his family in Gorakhpur to inform them of the incident.
