Varese cycling: New amateur challenge and Gran Premio Carnaghese announced

The Varese Provincial Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation has proposed the ‘Varese Rando & Gravel Challenge’ for the 2027 season. This initiative aims to unite various gravel and randonnée events organized by local amateur sports associations into a single challenge. The program intends to include a merit-based final ranking for participating clubs and offers individual recognition and discounted registration fees for those who join in advance.

Additionally, the Società Ciclistica Carnaghese has announced the 54th edition of the Gran Premio Industria Commercio Artigianato Carnaghese- Trofeo Pino Introzzi. Scheduled for August 29, 2026, in Carnago, this national-level race for elite and under-23 riders will take place on the Circuito del Seprio. The event will feature thirty teams, including international participants from France, Switzerland, Ukraine, Spain, and Great Britain.
