Varese dental technician school investigated for exam fraud

The legal representative of a dental technician institute in the province of Varese is under investigation for ideological falsehood. According to investigations conducted by the Guardia di Finanza and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the individual allegedly falsified records to show that at least four students passed suitability exams they had not actually completed.

Additionally, the investigation suggests the school continued its educational activities and collected fees after losing and having its status as a ‘scuola paritaria’ (state-recognized private school) revoked. Investigators claim the institute continued to accept enrollments and issue certifications for training programs that were no longer officially recognized.

Financial audits of school registers, accounting records, and financial movements identified flows exceeding 116,000 euros related to enrollments, tuition, and exams. The legal representative has been notified of the conclusion of the preliminary investigations.
