Varese province sees multiple assaults and a stabbing overnight

A series of violent incidents and medical emergencies occupied emergency services and law enforcement across the province of Varese during the night.

In Varese, a 45-year-old man sustained minor injuries during an assault in via Sant'Imerio. Shortly after, in Saronno, a 29-year-old man was also treated for injuries following an assault in piazza Libertà. Both individuals were transported to hospitals in green code status.

The most serious incident occurred in Laveno Mombello, where a 25-year-old man was wounded by a sharp object. He was transported to the Cittiglio hospital under a yellow code, indicating medium severity. The Carabinieri of the Luino Company are investigating the circumstances of this stabbing.

Additional emergency calls involved alcohol-related illnesses and a road accident on the Statale 336 involving five people.
