Various community fundraising initiatives raise funds in Italy

In Lucera, the Telethon 2025 campaign successfully raised 20,207 euros to support research into rare genetic diseases. The fundraising effort, organized by the Telethon Lucera Committee and supported by the Casanova Sports Center and various local associations, included events such as the tenth edition of ‘Ballando con le Stelle’. Biagio Russo, the Telethon representative for Lucera, credited the achievement to the dedicated work of the committee and the community's consistent support for medical research.

In Livorno, the ‘Wonder – Oltre lo scalino’ crowdfunding campaign has exceeded its goal to fund accessibility improvements for the social restaurant Wonder. The initiative raised 5,455 euros through community donations and a solidarity dinner organized by the Coop Livorno members section. Combined with a 5,000 euro contribution from the Fondazione Il Cuore si scioglie, a total of 10,455 euros will be used to remove architectural barriers at the restaurant, managed by the Le Livornine social cooperative. Construction to make the entrance accessible is scheduled to begin in January.
