Various community milestones celebrated in Italy

In Monticello, Sister Maria Teresa Motto celebrated 50 years of consecrated life with the congregation of the Little Servants of Jesus Christ. A native of Monticello, she spent seventeen years as a missionary in Madagascar focusing on education and care for the vulnerable. The anniversary was marked by a special Mass and a gathering with family, friends, and fellow missionaries.

In another local event, 98-year-old Maria Giuseppa D’Onghia from Noci fulfilled a long-held wish to visit the Grotte di Castellana. Accompanied by ten family members, including children and grandchildren, she toured the caves for the first time. The visit included a gesture from Serafino Ostuni, president of Grotte di Castellana srl, who presented her with flowers.
