Various community workshops and educational activities announced in Spain
Several community-focused workshops and educational programs have been announced across different regions in Spain.
In Zamora, the Spanish Association Against Cancer is resuming its free English language workshop. Starting November 5, sessions will be held every Thursday at 11:00 AM at the association's headquarters. The workshop, led by former language instructor María Victoria Fraile, is open to patients, volunteers, and the general public, with a limit of 15 participants per session.
A family-oriented Christmas ceramics workshop is being organized by the Department of Culture. The program will take place over four Saturdays in November, focusing on clay modeling, glazing, and final ornamentation. Families can create light houses and Christmas ornaments, with registration available at the Casa de Cultura.
Additionally, writer Juan Heredia Urbano will host a children's workshop titled ‘Marypí. Un viaje para ir al cielo’ at CEIP Juan Caro Romero. Aimed at children aged 6 to 12, the free session uses storytelling to approach the concept of loss and memory in a delicate, age-appropriate manner. The event includes creative activities and a book signing.
