Various criminal and security incidents reported in Iran and Brazil

In Iran, the Supreme Court has upheld the sentence for cafe owner Sadegh Saedi-nia, who was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison and the confiscation of all movable and immovable assets. He was convicted of activities against national security following his social media posts and actions during protests in Qom.

In Hormozgan Province, an attack on a wedding ceremony in Kohestak, Sirik, has resulted in five deaths, including a young child. Local officials confirmed the casualties following what was described as a missile strike.
