Various cultural and civic awards launched in Italy

The 14th Biagio Andò Prize has commenced in Giarre, promoted by the Fondazione Nuovo Mezzogiorno. The 2026 edition focuses on the theme ‘Educating in politics to strengthen institutions’. The program includes a series of scheduled discussions throughout October and November at various local schools, covering topics such as the Constitution, political participation, and cultural patriotism among youth.

In Milan, the 7th edition of the ‘Belé e Gargoyle’ Goldsmith Prize has been announced. Organized by APA Confartigianato Imprese in collaboration with Scuola Galdus and Municipio 1, the competition is hosted by the Civico Museo Archeologico. The contest challenges artisans and students to create jewelry inspired by the museum's symbolic elements. The competition features two sections for students and young artisans, with a final award ceremony scheduled for May 10.
