Various cultural and sporting events scheduled for October 17

A Coruña, Spain, is hosting the 13th edition of the ENKI Race on October 17. The event has reached a record 17,000 participants, making it the largest race in Galicia. Focused on inclusion and solidarity rather than competition, the race features 23 obstacles designed for diverse mobility levels and capacities. New features include a ‘calm space’ for sensory regulation and an accessibility tent providing equipment such as noise-protection helmets and support for wheelchair and handbike users.

Simultaneously, the 19th edition of ‘El Día H’ will take place on October 17, celebrating the band Héroes del Silencio. Originating in Aspe, Spain, in 2008, the tribute has expanded into an international phenomenon. This year, 41 events are scheduled across 12 countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and the United States. In Aspe, celebrations will be held at Pub La Fábrica, featuring live music and fan gatherings.
