Argentina and Chile host diverse regional festivals and industry events

Various regions in Argentina and Chile are hosting a wide array of cultural, agricultural, and professional events throughout September.

In Argentina, Salta is hosting the Argentina Mining 2026 convention, attracting over 9,000 attendees to discuss exploration, lithium, and copper. Other regional activities include the 42nd Provincial Farmer's Festival in Carolina, the 66th anniversary celebrations in Bernal, and various community festivals in La Pampa and Buenos Aires province. Additionally, a technology encounter is scheduled in Sarmiento, Chubut.

In Chile, celebrations for the Fiestas Patrias are prominent. Events include the “Pañuelos al Viento” cueca dance in Penco, traditional festivities in Lo Barnechea, and the “Fiesta de las Tradiciones” in Valdivia. Other notable activities include the La Serena Marathon, aimed at boosting tourism, and circus-themed celebrations in Talca. In Tarapacá, a job fair is being held alongside the CIMIT 2026 event, offering over 2,000 employment opportunities.
