Various honors and institutional meetings held in Rome

Several institutional and social recognition events took place in Rome. Journalist and sociologist Annarita De Feo was awarded the Premio Eccellenza 2026 at the Sala dei Gruppi Parlamentari. The ceremony honored various leaders across multiple sectors, including William Munzone (CEO of MSC), Francesco Macrì (Leonardo S.p.A.), Gaetano Intrieri (Aeroitalia), and Sebastiano Caffo (Gruppo Caffo 1915). Other recipients included the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy, Ermek Omuraliev, and several sports champions.

In a separate event, the Fondazione Artemisia ETS, led by President Mariastella Giorlandino, was received by the Pope. The foundation focuses on human dignity, healthcare assistance, and supporting vulnerable populations, specifically women victims of violence and stalking. The foundation operates in conjunction with the Artemisia Lab network to provide clinical services, prevention initiatives, and community health screenings.
