Various Japanese food businesses announce anniversary celebrations

Multiple food service businesses in Japan are launching anniversary campaigns featuring discounted menus.

Sushi Choshimaru is hosting a founding anniversary festival from October 31 to November 29, 2026. The event includes weekly half-price or special-priced items on weekdays, such as sea snail, madai sea bream, and aurora salmon. On weekends and specific holidays, the chain will offer various 'tenkomori' (heaping) menus featuring crab, shrimp, and fried chicken. Additionally, the chain will hold tuna carving events at all locations on select dates.

Marion Crepes, located in Fujimino, Saitama, is celebrating its 50th anniversary since its founding in 1976. As part of its gratitude festival, the shop will offer its most popular item, the banana chocolate cream crepe, for a discounted price of 390 yen (down from 590 yen) on October 21, 2026. This specific promotion is available exclusively to customers using the official mobile app.
