Various Japanese hobby and railway merchandise releases announced

Several new merchandise releases have been announced in Japan for collectors and enthusiasts.

The Initial D 1/64 diorama set mini-car series is being re-released. This collection features nine different types of die-cast miniature cars based on vehicles from the series, such as the Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AE86) and Mazda RX-7. The sets include diorama sheets, collectible boxes, and blister cards. Pre-orders began on October 22, 2026, with a scheduled release starting in February 2027. Due to the expiration of the 30th-anniversary logo, some package designs have been updated.

Additionally, JR Central Retailing Plus will launch three original merchandise items themed around the Ogaki Rolling Stock Center on October 23, 2026. The lineup includes trading acrylic keychains featuring 12 different types of historical and current rolling stock, diorama acrylic stands depicting maintenance depots, and clear files. These items will be available at select physical locations, such as Bellmart Ogaki and PLUSTA Asty Gifu, as well as through online stores.
