Several local developments have been reported in the Martesana area of Italy. In Romano di Lombardia, families at the De Amicis primary school have expressed concern over large accumulations of starling droppings in the schoolyard and surrounding streets, which have reportedly made some access points impassable and caused hygiene issues.

In a separate enforcement action, the Guardia di Finanza seized 360,000 items, including Halloween decorations and Christmas ornaments, that bore false CE markings. The investigation led to a company in Brugherio, which served as a primary supplier for the non-compliant goods found in warehouses in the Legnano and Monza e Brianza areas.
