Various local running events scheduled in Greece

Several community running events are scheduled to take place in Greece in late 2026.

In Agrinio, the 13th Agios Artemios Popular Road Race will be held on November 29, 2026. The event includes a 5km race for adults and an 800m race for children. Organized by the local administration of the International Police Union in cooperation with the Municipality of Agrinio, the race is part of the 19th Panhellenic Friendly Meeting of the International Police Union. The children's race offers participants the opportunity to tour the police headquarters and interact with officers.

In Pagoneri, Komotini, the Walnut Road race is set for November 1, 2026. The event features three distances: a 20km route, a 6km route, and a 1km Pagoneri Kid race. Due to the closure of the original route, the 20km course has been adjusted from its previous 16km length. The race is designed to combine sports with the local traditions and nature of the historic village.
