Tres Arroyos Mar del Plata municipal security digital payments paid parking

Several municipal updates have been announced across different regions in Argentina. In Tres Arroyos, the Municipal Security Secretariat has established a summer schedule for the paid parking system, effective from November 1 to March 31. The operating hours for weekdays will be 8:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 20:00.

In Mar del Plata, Mayor Guillermo Montenegro and Buenos Aires Province Security Minister Javier Alonso met at the City Operations and Monitoring Center to coordinate security measures. The meeting aimed to strengthen criminal information exchange and coordinate federal forces to address local insecurity. National officials are expected to join upcoming work meetings to bolster investigations and raids.

Additionally, a municipal ordinance has been approved requiring museums and cultural spaces managed by the Municipal Tourism and Culture Entity (Emturyc) to accept electronic payments. This includes venues such as the Teatro Municipal Colón and the Juan Carlos Castagnino Museum of Art. While digital payment methods regulated by the Central Bank must be integrated, cash payments must remain an available option. Establishments have 180 days to implement these digital systems.
