Various musical events and releases announced for the Christmas season

Swiss singer Joe Im Winkelried has announced the release of his winter title, ‘Frohe Weihnacht im Himmel’, scheduled for November 6, 2026. The song is a sentimental Christmas track inspired by the personal experiences of Australian songwriter Evelin Vordermeier, who lost several family members within a single year. The music blends traditional Christmas motifs with folk and country elements, focusing on themes of loss, memory, and hope.

In a separate musical series, the Joe Hieger orchestra is preparing a series of festive Christmas concerts. Scheduled for late November and December, the performances will take place in the town parish churches of Wemding, Rain, and Höchstädt. The program features approximately 30 performers, including an orchestra, soloists, and a choir, covering a repertoire that spans classical, pop, musical, and ballads. The concert series also serves a charitable purpose, with proceeds being donated to various philanthropic causes.
