Various musical tributes and performances scheduled in Brazil

Salvador will host a special performance by samba artists Martinho da Vila and his daughter, Mart’nália, at the Concha Acústica do Teatro Castro Alves. Their “Pai e Filha” tour marks their first complete tour sharing the same stage and is part of Martinho da Vila’s farewell cycle from major shows. The repertoire will include Martinho’s classics, Mart’nália’s hits, and new joint interpretations.

In Belém, a tribute concert to the late sertanejo singer Marília Mendonça will take place at the Sesc Teatro Casa Isaura Campos. Led by Hellen Patrícia of Banda Xeiro Verde, the event requires a 1 kg donation of non-perishable food for entry. The performance aims to celebrate Mendonça’s musical legacy and her role in promoting female protagonism within the Brazilian music scene.
