Various orchestral performances scheduled in Brazil

Several musical events featuring orchestral performances are scheduled across Brazil. In Rio de Janeiro, the Afrossinfonicidade concert will take place at Praça Mauá on October 31. This free, outdoor event features percussionist and composer Carlinhos Brown performing alongside the Orquestra Ouro Preto as part of the SulAmérica Sessions project. The repertoire includes Brown's compositions, such as ‘Amor I Love You’ and ‘Quixabeira’, blending pop, samba, and axé with orchestral arrangements.

In Araras, São Paulo, the Orquestra Arautos do Rei is set to perform at Praça Barão this Saturday at 20:00. Comprising over 50 musicians, the orchestra will present a repertoire of sacred and classical music. The event is a collaboration between the Municipal Secretariat of Culture and the AD Brás Araras church.
