Several theater festivals and competitions are reaching their final stages across different Spanish regions.

In Benavente, the Certamen Nacional de Teatro para Aficionados Ciudad de Benavente will feature its final performances this weekend. Carpe Diem Teatro will perform ‘Pasión por Carmen’ on Saturday, October 24, followed by Teatro Kumen’s production of Molière’s ‘Tartufo (Play)’ on Sunday, October 25. The event concludes next Saturday with an awards ceremony and a performance by the Intercazia theater group.

In Agüimes, the 39th edition of the Festival del Sur-Encuentro Teatral Tres Continentes is entering its final days. The Valencian company L’Om Imprebis is scheduled to present ‘¿De dónde venimos?’ on October 24 at the Auditorio de Agüimes. The festival will close on October 25 with the premiere of ‘OR, tal vez la vida sea ridícula’ by the Compañía Teatral Tres Continentes.
